On April 29, 2020, it was reported that a [[live-action]] remake of ''Hercules'' is under development at [[Walt Disney Pictures]], with the producers of the [[The Lion King (2019 film)|CGI remake]] of ''[[The Lion King]]'' (Jeffrey Silver and Karen Gilchrist) set to produce the film.
