* {{jct|I|75|state=MI}} is a north–south [[Controlled-access highway|freeway]] that clips the extreme northeast corner of Emmet County in [[Mackinaw City, Michigan|Mackinaw City]]. North of Emmet County, I-75 crosses the [[Straits of Mackinac]] via the [[Mackinac Bridge]].
* {{jct|US|23|state=MI}} finds its northern terminus at I-75 in Mackinaw City. The highway continues east into [[Cheboygan County, Michigan|Cheboygan County]], and runs south along the coast of [[Lake Huron]].

It connects the communities of [[Petoskey, Michigan|Petoskey]], [[Conway, Michigan|Conway]], [[Oden, Michigan|Oden]], [[Ponshewaing, Michigan|Ponshewaing]], [[Alanson, Michigan|Alanson]], [[Pellston, Michigan|Pellston]], [[Levering, Michigan|Levering]], and Mackinaw City. Previously, an additional highway, [[M-108 (Michigan highway)|M-108]], ran along the Emmet–Cheboygan county line in Mackinaw City.
