Cookeville is predominantly a [[college town]], home to [[Tennessee Tech]] since 1915. Cookeville is also home to a satellite campus of [[Volunteer State Community College]] as well as the [[Tennessee Bible College]], a Christian college affiliated with the [[Churches of Christ]].

Cookeville High School is one of Tennessee's six largest public [[High school (North America)|high school]]s.
