The 2016 Canada's Core Public Infrastructure Survey from [[Statistics Canada]] found that all of Canada's 247 streetcars were owned by the [[City of Toronto government|City of Toronto]]. The vast majority (87.9%) of these streetcars were purchased from 1970 to 1999, while 12.1% were purchased in 2016.
