BART supplements the [[Caltrain]] service between [[San Francisco]] and [[San Jose, CA|San Jose]], with [[South San Francisco station (Caltrain)|the latter's station]] adjacent to downtown on Grand Avenue. A second Caltrain station in South San Francisco, {{cals|Butler Road}} at Oyster Point, was removed in 1983. On June 4, 2012, the [[San Francisco Bay Ferry|Water Emergency Transportation Authority]] began a ferry service between the [[South San Francisco Ferry Terminal]] at [[Oyster Point Marina/Park|Oyster Point Marina]] and the east bay cities of [[Oakland, California|Oakland]] at [[Jack London Square]] and [[Alameda, California|Alameda]] at the Main Street ferry terminal.
