In 2010 the Minister for Finance [[Brian Lenihan Jnr]] became the first [[Fianna Fáil]] person to give the oration. In 2012 on the 90th anniversary of the death of Collins, the [[Taoiseach]] [[Enda Kenny]] gave the oration, the first serving head of government to do so. There is also a remembrance ceremony at Collins' grave in [[Glasnevin Cemetery]] on the anniversary of his death every year.
