==== Reindeer herding project at the mouth of the Mackenzie River from 1931 ==== 3 families from Kautokeino traveled to the northern coast of [[Canada]], to the area where the [[Mackenzie River]] flows into the sea, near the present-day town of [[Inuvik]], which was founded later in 1953.
