Harrison serves as the [[National Park Service]]'s [http://www.nps.gov/buff/ Buffalo National River headquarters]. As of May 2024, the Creekside Community Center is currently under construction. When complete, it will have an Olympic size pool, two more smaller pools, 2 high school regulation size basketball courts, and an indoor music venue. Construction is deemed to end before 2025.
