The Swedish pennant is shaped like an isosceles triangle (to prevent fraying, it is sometimes shaped like an isosceles trapezoid), consisting of two horizontal bands with blue at the top and yellow at the bottom. The National Archives of Sweden recommends its length to be {{fraction|3}} the height of the flag pole.
