In August 2009, Grohl was given the [[Freedom of the City#Key to the city|key to the city]] of [[Warren, Ohio]], his birthplace, and performed the songs "Everlong", "Times Like These", and "My Hero". In 2012, Grohl's hometown of Warren unveiled oversized {{convert|409|kg|abbr=on|order=flip}} drumsticks, listed in the [[Guinness Book of World Records]] for the largest drumsticks in the world.
