==City government== College Park has operated under the council-manager form of government since 1960. The City Council is the legislative body of the city and makes all city policy. The council has eight members, representing four districts in the city. The council is elected by district every 2 years in non-partisan elections. The Mayor is elected at large on the same election schedule as the City Council. City Council meetings are held weekly at the [[College Park City Hall]]. The City Manager also serves as an adviser to the City Council.
