From the early 1970s to the early 1980s the Chevrolet name was also used on various light commercials in Australia. These ranged from the LUV (a rebadged Isuzu KB) to the third-generation C-series trucks. From 1998 to 2001 the [[Chevrolet Suburban]] was sold in Australia as the Holden Suburban, which is expected to return under the Chevrolet badge with the twelfth generation models.
