*11 June 2018 – A [[Lufthansa]] Airbus A340-300 registered as D-AIFA was being towed with maintenance staff on board to the departure gate at [[Frankfurt Airport]]'s terminal when the tow truck caught fire. * 15 November 2007 – an Airbus A340-600 with the test registration F-WWCJ was damaged beyond repair during ground testing at Airbus' facilities at [[Toulouse Blagnac International Airport]].
