==Geography== Woodbury is located in southeastern Meriwether County at {{Coord|32|58|50|N|84|34|52|W|type:city}} (32.980588, -84.580979).<ref name="GR1">{{cite web|url=https://www.census.gov/geographies/reference-files/time-series/geo/gazetteer-files.html|publisher=[[United States Census Bureau]]|access-date=2011-04-23|date=2011-02-12|title=US Gazetteer files: 2010, 2000, and 1990}}</ref> Georgia State Routes [[Georgia State Route 18|18]], [[Georgia State Route 74|74]], [[Georgia State Route 85|85]], and [[Georgia State Route 109|109]] pass through the city. Route 18 leads northwest {{convert|8|mi|0}} to [[Greenville, Georgia|Greenville]], the [[county seat]], and northeast {{convert|19|mi}} to [[Zebulon, Georgia|Zebulon]]. Route 74 goes east out of Woodbury with Route 18 but leads southeast {{convert|19|mi}} to [[Thomaston, Georgia|Thomaston]]; to the north Route 74 leads {{convert|8|mi|0}} to [[Gay, Georgia|Gay]]. Route 85 goes north to Gay with Route 74 but also leads south {{convert|10|mi|0}} to [[Manchester, Georgia|Manchester]]. Route 85 Alternate runs through the north side of Woodbury and leads southwest {{convert|9|mi|0}} to [[Warm Springs, Georgia|Warm Springs]]. Route 109 follows Route 18 both northwest and east out of Woodbury but leads east {{convert|28|mi}} to [[Barnesville, Georgia|Barnesville]]. According to the [[United States Census Bureau]], Woodbury has a total area of {{convert|2.1|sqmi}}, of which {{convert|0.03|sqmi|2}}, or 1.43%, are water.<ref name="CenPopGazetteer2022"/> The [[Flint River]] passes {{convert|3|mi|0}} east of the city, and [[Pine Mountain Range|Pine Mountain]] rises three miles to the south.
