=== Rail expansion === In 2005, the Minister of Ports, Harbours and Railways announced plans to extend the railway system to facilitate economic development. To begin, $5 million was invested for feasibility studies. The formation was complete from [[Sakumono]] to the SSNIT flats near Tema.
