==Origin of name== Douglas Adams wrote in the notes accompanying [[The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: The Original Radio Scripts|the published volume of original radio scripts]] that he wanted Slartibartfast's name to sound very rude, but still actually be broadcastable.
