== Population ==
Shikoku has a total population of 3,630,320 in 2022. The largest city is [[Matsuyama]] (population: 507,137) and is the capital of [[Ehime Prefecture]]. Shikoku is the main island with the third largest population density, at {{convert|193|PD/km2}}.
