==Geography==
According to the [[United States Census Bureau]], the town has a total area of {{convert|27.4|sqmi|km2}}, of which {{convert|27.2|sqmi|km2}} is land and {{convert|0.3|sqmi|km2}} (0.95%) is water.

The south border of the town is [[Tonawanda Creek]], which forms the border between Niagara County and [[Erie County, New York|Erie County]]. The [[Erie Canal]] passes through the eastern part of the town, where it connects to Tonawanda Creek.
