===Founding and acquisition {{anchor|Palm Computing}}=== Palm Computing, Inc., was founded in 1992 by [[Jeff Hawkins]], who later hired [[Donna Dubinsky]] and [[Ed Colligan]], all of whom guided Palm to the invention of [[Palm Pilot]].
