==Geography==
According to the [[United States Census Bureau]], the city has a total area of {{convert|0.92|sqmi|sqkm|2}}, all land.

The city is located in both [[Clinton County, Michigan|Clinton County]] to the west and [[Shiawassee County, Michigan|Shiawassee County]] to the east.  The vast majority of the city's boundaries are within Clinton County. However, the 2010 census listed six residents out of 1,603 (0.37%) as being in Shiawassee County.<ref name=CENS/>
