==Geography==

According to the [[United States Census Bureau]], the CDP has a total area of {{convert|90.2|km2|order=flip}}, all of it recorded as land. The North Fork of the [[Anchor River]] forms the southern border of the community, and the [[Chakok River]] forms the western border.

Nikolaevsk is in the boreal wet forest biome, according to the [[Holdridge life zones]] system.
