According to the [[United States Census Bureau|U.S. Census Bureau]], the township had a total area of 14.94 square miles (38.70&nbsp;km<sup>2</sup>), including 14.73 square miles (38.15&nbsp;km<sup>2</sup>) of land and 0.21 square miles (0.55&nbsp;km<sup>2</sup>) of water (1.43%).<ref name=CensusArea/><ref name=GR1 />
