Mohenjo-daro is located off the right (west) bank of the lower<ref>"Lower Indus" refers to the portion of the river below its confluence with [[Panjnad River|Panjnad]], the combined river of all its five tributaries flowing through the [[Punjab region]].</ref> [[Indus River|Indus river]] in [[Larkana District]], Sindh, Pakistan.
