==Geography==
The Lubusz Voivodeship is a land of forests and lakes; forests cover 48% of the area. The river [[Oder]], flowing through the voivodeship, is one of the few large European rivers retaining [[Temperate broadleaf and mixed forests|broadleaved]] and [[Riparian forest|riparian forests]]. Areas with the highest natural values are protected as national parks ([[Drawa National Park]] and [[Warta Mouth National Park]]), [[landscape park (protected area)|landscape parks]] and [[Nature reserve|wildlife reserves]]. The 19th century [[Muskau Park]], located on both sides of the [[Germany–Poland border|Polish–German border]], has entered the [[World Heritage Site|UNESCO World Heritage List]].
