[[Georgia State Route 79]] leads northwest {{convert|38|mi}} to [[Elberton, Georgia|Elberton]], while [[Georgia State Route 43|State Route 43]] leads south {{convert|24|mi}} to [[Thomson, Georgia|Thomson]]. [[Augusta, Georgia|Augusta]] is {{convert|39|mi}} to the southeast via State Routes [[Georgia State Route 47|47]] and [[Georgia State Route 104|104]]. A historical site, [[Elijah Clark State Park]], is {{convert|7|mi|0}} northeast of Lincolnton at the [[Savannah River]].
