==Geography== Lake Park is located in southeastern Lowndes County at {{coord|30|41|5|N|83|11|16|W|type:city}} (30.684704, -83.187639).<ref name="GR1">{{cite web|url=https://www.census.gov/geographies/reference-files/time-series/geo/gazetteer-files.html|publisher=[[United States Census Bureau]]|accessdate=2011-04-23|date=2011-02-12|title=US Gazetteer files: 2010, 2000, and 1990}}</ref> It is bordered to the northwest by the unincorporated community of [[Twin Lakes, Georgia|Twin Lakes]]. [[U.S. Route 41]] passes through the center of town as Marion Avenue. It leads northwest {{convert|13|mi}} to [[Valdosta, Georgia|Valdosta]], the [[county seat]], and southeast {{convert|7|mi|0}} to [[Jennings, Florida]]. [[Georgia State Route 376]] leads east {{convert|10|mi|0}} to [[Statenville, Georgia|Statenville]] and west {{convert|8|mi|0}} to [[Clyattville, Georgia|Clyattville]]. [[Interstate 75]] passes west and south of Lake Park, with access from Exits 2 (Belville Road) and 5 (State Route 376). I-75 leads north past Valdosta {{convert|57|mi}} to [[Tifton, Georgia|Tifton]] and southeast {{convert|47|mi}} to [[Lake City, Florida]].
