==Geography== According to the [[United States Census Bureau]], the town has a total area of {{convert|31.0|sqkm|order=flip}}, of which {{convert|0.04|sqkm|order=flip|2}} are water, comprising 0.12% of the town.<ref name="CenPopGazetteer2021"/> Kensington is home to 16 named hills of glacial [[drumlin]] origin; the highest, Indian Ground Hill, located on the town's border with [[South Hampton, New Hampshire|South Hampton]], is {{convert|305|ft|m}} above [[sea level]]. The majority of Kensington lies within the [[Piscataqua River]] [[Drainage basin|watershed]], via the [[Exeter River]].
