==Geography== Falls Creek is located in eastern Jefferson County at {{coord|41|8|37|N|78|48|12|W|type:city}} (41.143688, -78.803252);.<ref name="GR1">{{cite web|url=https://www.census.gov/geographies/reference-files/time-series/geo/gazetteer-files.html|publisher=[[United States Census Bureau]]|access-date=2011-04-23|date=2011-02-12|title=US Gazetteer files: 2010, 2000, and 1990}}</ref> Most of the borough is located between Falls Creek to the north and [[Sandy Lick Creek]] to the south, into which Falls Creek flows. The creeks are part of the [[Redbank Creek (Pennsylvania)|Redbank Creek]] watershed, draining west to the [[Allegheny River]]. [[Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania|Interstate 80]] and [[U.S. Route 219 in Pennsylvania|U.S. Route 219]] intersect just northeast of the borough limits. I-80 leads east {{convert|24|mi}} to [[Clearfield, Pennsylvania|Clearfield]] and west {{convert|18|mi}} to [[Brookville, Pennsylvania|Brookville]], while US-219 leads southeast {{convert|3|mi|0}} into [[DuBois, Pennsylvania|DuBois]] and north {{convert|9|mi|0}} to [[Brockway, Pennsylvania|Brockway]]. [[Pennsylvania Route 830]] passes through the center of Falls Creek as Main Street and Washington Avenue, while [[Pennsylvania Route 950]] heads out of the center of town as 3rd Street, leading {{convert|7|mi|0}} southwest to [[Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania|Reynoldsville]]. According to the [[United States Census Bureau]], the borough of Falls Creek has a total area of {{convert|2.43|sqkm|order=flip}}, of which {{convert|0.01|sqkm|order=flip|3}}, or 0.48%, is covered with water.<ref name="Census 2020"/>
