==Geography==

[[Illinois Route 146]] passes through the village, leading southwest (downriver) {{convert|15|mi}} to [[Golconda, Illinois|Golconda]] and east {{convert|9|mi|0}} to [[Illinois Route 1]] north of [[Cave-In-Rock, Illinois|Cave-In-Rock]]. [[Rosiclare, Illinois|Rosiclare]], the only city in Hardin County, is reached by traveling {{convert|2.5|mi}} west on IL-146 then {{convert|2|mi|0}} south on [[Illinois Route 34|IL-34]].
