== Geography ==
Edgewood is located {{convert|33|mi}} east of [[Albuquerque, New Mexico|Albuquerque]] along [[Interstate 40 in New Mexico|Interstate 40]].

According to the [[United States Census Bureau]], the town has a total area of {{convert|126.2|km2|disp=flip}}, all land except for {{convert|0.04|sqkm|disp=flip}} of water, covering 0.03% of the town.<ref name="Census 2010"/> It is located within the Estancia Valley, east of the [[Sandia Mountains]] and [[Manzano Mountains]] of central New Mexico. Most of the land cover in the area is woodland or grassland.
