Vision 2030 is Kenya's current blueprint for its economic future, with the goal of creating a prosperous, globally-competitive nation with a high quality of life by 2030. Vision 2030 seeks economic growth averaging greater than 10% for 23 years, beginning in the year 2007. ===Social pillar===

The political pillar envisions a "democratic system that is issue-based, transparent, people-centred, results-oriented, and accountable to the public".
