==Finance== Until [[Brexit]] Gibraltar was a constituent part of the [[European Union]] as a [[Special Member State territories and the European Union#Gibraltar|Special Member State territory]], having joined the [[European Economic Community]] with the United Kingdom in 1973, under the provisions of the [[Treaty of Rome]] relating to European dependent territories.
