===Ronald Reagan=== Dixon was the childhood home of the 40th [[President of the United States]], [[Ronald Reagan]]. Reagan was born in nearby [[Tampico, Illinois|Tampico]] and moved to Dixon, aged nine. In his teen years, he lifeguarded along the banks of the Rock River.
