==Geography==

It is at the intersection of Routes [[New York State Route 33|33]] and [[New York State Route 36|36]], north of [[Interstate 490 (New York)|Interstate 490]]. I-490 leads northeast {{convert|16|mi}} to downtown [[Rochester, New York|Rochester]] and southwest {{convert|6|mi|0}} to [[Interstate 90|I-90]], the [[New York State Thruway]]. State Route 33 leads northeast {{convert|4|mi|0}} to [[North Chili, New York|North Chili]] and southwest {{convert|3.5|mi|1}} to [[Bergen (village), New York|Bergen]], while Route 36 leads north {{convert|6|mi|0}} to [[New York State Route 31|Route 31]] near [[Spencerport, New York|Spencerport]] and south {{convert|10|mi|0}} to [[Caledonia (village), New York|Caledonia]].

According to the [[U.S. Census Bureau]], the village of Churchville has an area of {{convert|1.2|sqmi|1}}, of which {{convert|0.02|sqmi|2}}, or 1.49%, are water.<ref name="CenPopGazetteer2024"/> [[Black Creek (Genesee River tributary)|Black Creek]], a tributary of the [[Genesee River]], flows from west to east through the village.

Churchville Park and golf course are north of the village near Hutton Circle and Kendall Road.
