===Chloroplasts===
Chlorophycean algae have [[chloroplast]]s and nearly all members are [[photosynthetic]]. Chloroplasts are diverse in morphology and include many forms, including, cup-shaped (e.g. ''Chlamydomonas''), or axial, or parietal and reticulate (e.g. ''[[Oedogonium]]'').<ref name=Graham/>
