==Geography==

Cadwell is located in southwestern Laurens County at {{coord|32|20|25|N|83|2|33|W|type:city}} (32.340353, -83.042462).<ref name="GR1">{{cite web|url=https://www.census.gov/geographies/reference-files/time-series/geo/gazetteer-files.html|publisher=[[United States Census Bureau]]|accessdate=April 23, 2011|date=February 12, 2011|title=US Gazetteer files: 2010, 2000, and 1990}}</ref> [[Georgia State Route 117]] passes through the town as its Main Street; via SR 117 it is {{convert|17|mi}} northeast to [[Dublin, Georgia|Dublin]], the [[county seat]], and {{convert|13|mi}} southwest to [[Eastman, Georgia|Eastman]]. [[Georgia State Route 126|State Route 126]] passes through the center of Cadwell as Burch Street; it leads northwest {{convert|8|mi|0}} to [[Chester, Georgia|Chester]] and southeast {{convert|22|mi}} to [[Alamo, Georgia|Alamo]].
