It is believed by the Kulin and other Aboriginal peoples that, in the [[Dreamtime]], Bunjil took shelter in a cave located in the part of [[Gariwerd]] that is now known as the [[Black Range Scenic Reserve]], not far from [[Stawell, Victoria|Stawell]].
