==Geography==
Bridgeport is located on the northern border of Caddo County. It is bordered to the north by [[Blaine County, Oklahoma|Blaine County]]. The town is built on the south side of the valley of the [[Canadian River]], overlooking its floodplain.

Former [[U.S. Route 66]] is {{Convert|0.5|mi}} to the south of the town, and [[Interstate 40 in Oklahoma|Interstate 40]] runs one-half mile further south, though the closest access is {{convert|2|mi|0}} to the east at Exit 101. Downtown [[Oklahoma City]] is {{convert|52|mi}} east of Bridgeport.

According to the [[United States Census Bureau]], the city has a total area of {{convert|1.4|km2|disp=flip}}, all land.<ref name="Census 2010"/>
