==Geography==
Bird-in-Hand is in central Lancaster County, on the eastern edge of East Lampeter Township. [[Pennsylvania Route 340]] (Old Philadelphia Pike) runs through the center of town, leading west {{convert|6|mi|0}} to [[Lancaster, Pennsylvania|Lancaster]], the [[county seat]], and east {{convert|4|mi|0}} to [[Intercourse, Pennsylvania|Intercourse]].
