===Tornadoes===
On [[January 21–22, 2017, tornado outbreak|January 22, 2017]], a [[January 21–22, 2017, tornado outbreak#Barney–Adel–Nashville, Georgia|low-end EF3 tornado]] struck the extreme southern portion of Adel.
