Accusations of anti-White racism,<ref name="Fleming2020" /> suggestions of the displacement of,<ref name="Pettit2019" /> or lack of representation for,<ref name="Fifield2006" /> the group, and rhetoric surrounding Whites in France experiencing poverty have been, at times, utilised by various right-wing political elements in the country.
