The [[St. Clair Catholic District School Board]] is responsible for the city's seven elementary and only secondary Catholic, [[St. Patrick's Catholic High School|St. Patrick's]]. The ''[[Conseil scolaire catholique Providence]]'' (CSC Providence) represents the two French Catholic schools in the city, Saint-François-Xavier and Saint-Thomas-d'Aquin. In comparison, the ''[[Conseil scolaire Viamonde]]'' operates two French public schools, the elementary École Les Rapides and the secondary École Secondaire Franco-Jeunesse. [[Lambton College]], which offers two and three-year programs and diplomas, is one of Ontario's 21 colleges of applied arts and technology.
