One of the nine Specialized High Schools in New York City is located in Queens. Located in the [[York College, City University of New York]] Campus in Jamaica, the [[Queens High School for the Sciences at York College]], which emphasizes both science and mathematics, ranks as one of the best high schools in both the state and the country. It is one of the smallest Specialized High Schools that requires an entrance exam, the [[Specialized High Schools Admissions Test]]. The school has a student body of around 400 students.
