====Fights against Quarry, Patterson, Foster, Bugner and Norton==== After Ellis, Ali fought Jerry Quarry, had a second bout with Floyd Patterson, and faced [[Bob Foster (boxer)|Bob Foster]] in 1972, winning a total of six fights that year.
