[[Lafayette Parish School System]] is the largest primary and secondary education system for Lafayette and its metropolitan area. Covering the whole of Lafayette Parish, it has 45 schools: 25 [[Primary school|elementary schools]], 12 [[middle school]]s, and eight [[High Schools|high schools]].
