A fictionalised version of the sinking of the ship was dramatised in a 2000 television film, [[Britannic (film)|''Britannic'']], that featured [[Edward Atterton]], [[Amanda Ryan]], [[Jacqueline Bisset]] and [[John Rhys-Davies]], depicting a German agent sabotaging the ship, due to it secretly carrying munitions.{{cn|date=August 2024}}
