The reference to "eunuchs" in Matthew 19:12 has yielded various interpretations.

One of the earliest converts to Christianity was an [[Ethiopian eunuch]] who was a high court official of [[Kandake|Candace]], the Queen of Ethiopia, but was already a eunuch at the time of conversion (Acts 8:27–39).
