Ferry service to [[West Midtown Ferry Terminal]] in Manhattan is offered by [[NY Waterway]] at Edgewater Landing, located where [[New Jersey Route 5|Route 5]] comes into River Road. Several ferries operated in Edgewater in the past,<ref>Hall, ''Edgewater'', p. 55</ref> with the old Edgewater Ferry Terminal historically located about 100 yards from the current ferry terminal.
