Between 1935 and 1940, Knight and Rickenbacker created another Sunday comic strip for King Features.<ref name=":14">{{Cite web |title=The Hall of Fame of the Air |url=http://acepilots.com/wwi/hfa.html |access-date=2022-09-01 |website=acepilots.com}}</ref> Called ''[[The Hall of Fame of the Air]]'', this fact-based comic featured airplanes and air battles of famous aviators and aces.<ref name=":14"/> As one modern writer noted, "Whether 'America's Ace of Aces' wrote the pieces or not; his name added authenticity to the strip."<ref name=":14"/> This comic strip was adapted into a Big Little Book, ''Hall of Fame of the Air,'' by Whitman Publishing Co. in 1936.<ref name=":13"/>
