Conference USA sponsors championship competition in eight men's and 11 women's NCAA sanctioned sports.<ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.conferenceusa.com/|title=Conference USA|website=www.conferenceusa.com}}</ref> Twelve schools are affiliate members—one in baseball, four in beach volleyball, six in bowling, and one in both beach volleyball and bowling. The most recent changes in sports sponsorship were the dropping of men's soccer and women's swimming and diving after the 2021–22 season, plus the addition of bowling in 2023–24.
